Key Objective:

Provide administrative support to Underwriting Teams for a CT based specialty insurance firm.

Major Responsibilities:

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to support multiple underwriters and multiple product lines simultaneously
  • Entry of submission into our Submission Tracking System; basic understanding of the products BRP offers
  • Maintain service standards by timely response to broker requests and timely receipt of underwriting information
  • Claims Filing and other administrative tasks with regard to Claims
  • Handle special projects as assigned


  • College preferred
  • Strong computer, communication and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team member
  • Self-starter
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to change
